UPCOMING EVENTS

Night of lights - 12/15/2024 

On this night we light up the neighborhood with the warm light of luminaria. We hope many people participate - it shows neighborhood pride and solidarity, and it looks very festive! Supplies for your luminaria will be available for sale on 12/14 and 12/15 from noon to 5 at the pavillion on the south side of Oval Park. Lights are displayed from dusk till the candles burn out. RECENT PAST EVENTS

Halloween/Toddlerween

In addition to trick or treating on Club Blvd, folks were invited to trick or treat on some other streets in the neighborhood. Toddler Trick or Treat (Toddlerween) was held at a number of homes in Old West Durham and Watts-Hillandale from 4-6. A map of the participating homes for Toddlerween can be found HERE. 

 

​WHH AND OWD Artwalk 11/10/2024

This year’s WHHN/OWDN ArtWalk was held on November 10th, from Noon to 5:00 PM, featuring 43 participating artists at 26 locations and the collective creative talent was impressive.  We were excited to be featuring three very young artists showing work this year!  Friends and neighbors joined for a leisurely stroll in our neighborhoods, as all locations were quite walkable. A map of the many homes who hosted one or more artists can be found HERE.
