Coca-Cola Bottling Facility

Durham Coca-Cola Bottling Company has moved to new headquarters along US 64 near Jordan Lake. Construction on the Hillsborough Rd site has started on a mixed-use retail/residential development called Westside Bottling. Retail plans include Sprouts, First Watch, Shake Shack, Ulta, Club Pilates, Cava, and Vernis Nail Salon. Residential plans are approximately 370 apartments and 35 townhomes. Demolition of the Coca-Cola building and surroundings took place in July and August 2025. Site preparation proceeded throughout the Fall of 2025. Construction is expected to take two years.
