Coca-Cola Bottling Facility

Durham Coca-Cola Bottling Company has moved to new headquarters along US 64 near Jordan Lake. Construction at the Hillsborough Rd site is underway on a mixed-use retail/residential development called Westside Bottling (nice to have a faint reminder of the site's history). Retail plans include Sprouts, First Watch, Shake Shack, Ulta, Club Pilates, Cava, and Vernis Nail Salon. Residential plans are approximately 370 apartments and 35 townhomes. Construction of the entire project was expected to be completed by late 2027. Work at the site has stopped.

The building labeled "Grocery" is the Sprouts under construction now.

Green ovals indicate where much needed underground stormwater retention ponds will be.

The red line indicates the division of the property into two parcels. Properties to the

South (Hillsborough Rd) side of the red line were expected to open in October or

November 2026. Construction has stopped (temporarily?).
