Stop #2 – The Eure House

2002 West Club Boulevard

This house is an excellent example of the American “four-square” design with strong prairie elements in the deep roof overhangs and hip-roofed dormer.

The house was built around 1915 for W.T. Eure. His daughters, Lottie, Ada, and Sadie, all worked at the hospital.

Note the porch supported by square bungalow-style posts.
