Oval Park is the heart of the neighborhood. Part of the original neighborhood
layout, Oval Park is four acres and spans both sides of Club Boulevard. Oval
Park is home of several neighborhood traditions, such as FestOval in September
and the Fourth of July Parade. Oval Park boasts a recently renovated children's playground and amphitheater, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, and many mature trees. Club Blvd. at Oval Park has a new median and cross walks thanks to traffic calming implemented by the City of Durham in 2007.
